Another pose. Like this one but I think his torso needs to be slightly more arching.
Decided to try and move away from the cartoony/unrealistic style. Even though it has errors it feels vastly more real to me. The main thing for me is getting the lengths of the arms and legs in proportion. I think this a good first attempt. Thought I'd try a new battle stance. A bit like the girl jumping pose previously posted but this time he's crouching and turning. Inspired slightly by Zoro from One Peice. In this challenge we were tasked with creating a silhouette of a witch/warlock which could be easily understood as a witch or warlock but not using prototypical witch-like proportions or poses. Here is my attempt at the challenge. In my spare time I decided to take pictures of several different things so I could broaden my understanding of how the human body moves and contorts whilst in motion. I started with the simplest motion I could think of. Running. We were asked to do several different animation tasks which would go towards our grade. The first one was timing. Here are the notes We were given the task in groups to write about the principles of animation. The 12 aspects were split up to individuals I. The group. I was given Arcs, Secondary action and Staging.
